How To Apply For Jobs in Energy Department Government of Punjab?
- Online applications are required for BS-11 and higher (Sr. No.1 to 7) positions.
- Applications for positions below BS-11 (Sr. No. 8 to 12) must be submitted on ordinary paper to the Office of the Chief Engineer (Power), 1st Floor, Central Design Building, Irrigation Secretariat, Old Anarkali, Lahore, with the title of the position indicated. (Thirteen passport-sized photographs, and attested copies of all pertinent documents (CNIC, education certificates/degrees, domicile, experience certificates, etc.) must be accompanied by the application.
- A relaxation of the upper age limit by five (05) years is permissible for the aforementioned positions for males, while it is eight (08) years for females.
- The Contract Appointment is temporary, cannot be transferred, is job-post-specific, does not provide pension benefits, and does not grant the right to regularization.
- The recruitment process for the aforementioned positions will be conducted by the notification issued by the Finance Department on May 21, 2008, and the notification from S&GAD.
- Applicants who have previously applied in response to a previous advertisement (IPL# 10608) are required to reapply.
- Previous employees of the government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies are eligible to register via the appropriate channels.
- Strictly based on merit from all of Punjab, and by the Rules, selection criteria, and other provisions of the Recruitments and Contract Appointment Policy-2004 of S&GAD, as amended from time to time, candidates will be selected.
- Only those who have been shortlisted will be invited to the examination or interview.
- These appointments shall be granted exclusively on a contractual basis, with an anticipated duration of one year.
