Technical expertise:

  • Irrespective of the maintenance of qualification and authorization for all area-specific aircraft types, vehicles, and equipment; capable of performing all duties associated with the Technician role.
  • Accountable for ensuring a secure working environment through adherence to sanitation standards and quality, health, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all requirements are met for competency inspections by the quality procedures of British Airways.
  • As required, execute IT and documentary transactions while maximizing the application of technology.
  • Knowledge of material ordering, consumption, and the “fit and remove” procedure.
  • It is expected that one will acquire new skills and knowledge through experience, technological application, and training.

Who will you collaborate with?

Technical Support Group, Duty Shift Manager (line manager), Satellite Engineers, all Production grades, Ramp/Base Planning, and Engineering Control Centres.

You’ll need:

  • Category A CAA UK Part 66 license (fixed-wing turbine)
  • Additionally, applicants with CAA UK Part-66 B1 licenses without type ratings are encouraged to apply.
  • Within the past two years, possess six months of demonstrable maintenance experience in a Part 145 environment.
  • Manual driving license from the United Kingdom (airside driving license preferred).
