  • Protocol: Adhere to the service procedures outlined in the Guest Program, which entail delivering drink menus, offering recommendations, and responding to inquiries concerning beverages.
  • Organization and Tidiness—Ensure that the bar is consistently tidy in every area, including storage areas, counters, sinks, utensils, and shelves. Reset and clear the tables in the tavern area.
  • Maintenance: Inform the restaurant manager of any equipment malfunctions or bar maintenance concerns.
  • Inventory: Inventory management entails the restocking and replenishment of bar supplies and equipment, such as paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Adaptability—Show up as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor to ensure the seamless and effective operation of the establishment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Reach the age of 21. A year of minimum bartending experience is required.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English is critical.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English to facilitate visitor communication and order taking.
  • Possess effective communication skills with visitors.
  • Capacity for reciting, remembering, and promoting the diverse menu items.
  • Mathematics: Foundational mathematical abilities required for cash register operation, change computation, guest check totaling, bank count preparation, charge totalization, portion comprehension, and cash drop preparation.
  • Food handler or alcoholic beverage permits, as mandated by law.
  • Brand certification is mandatory.
  • Technical Capacity: Proficiency in using a keyboard and point-of-sale systems to pre-approve orders and cash checks.
  • One year’s experience providing fundamental instruction in the preparation and service of alcoholic beverages and cuisine.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended durations of time, no more than eight hours.
  • Be able to reach, lean, and stoop, as well as lift to 60 pounds frequently.
