What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience:
Required:
- A Clinical or Counseling Psychology Ph.D. or Psy.D., in addition to a Master’s degree in a related field
- Present an Indiana license or a valid license that meets the following requirements:
- Within eighteen months of employment, Ph.D. or Psy.D. candidates lacking a valid Indiana license are required to demonstrate their present eligibility to meet the state HSPP licensure requirements; or
- Within thirty months of employment, master’s candidates lacking a valid Indiana license must provide evidence of their present eligibility to fulfill the state’s requirements for an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or an equivalent license.
- ABD-status candidates pursuing doctoral studies will be taken into consideration.
- The candidate is required to complete the PhD program within one year of its commencement date and obtain the license within the aforementioned timeframe. The provision of supervision will be extended to doctoral candidates.
- Two years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred:
- One year of experience in general therapy.
- Supporting underrepresented populations (including racial/ethnic underserved communities, such as our African-American, Latinx, Asian-American, and Native American students, as well as those who identify with other dimensions of identity) is an area of interest and expertise.
Skills:
- In addition to individual and group therapy, administer clinical supervision. Capacity to design and deliver seminars concerning the application of these abilities.
- You must possess a valid license in the state of Indiana to qualify. The provision of supervision will be extended to doctoral candidates.
