The Team:

The University’s IT directorate, ITS (Innovation and Technology Services), is responsible for creating and managing IT services to satisfy business needs. York St. John University is making investments in many IT service sectors as it expands and in response to a new digital strategy. The growth of their Innovation and Technology Services division is one such sector. With over thirty people currently employed by the department, this position is growing and creating a range of chances to implement a daring new Digital Strategy for the University.

The Role:

Making sure the University gets the most out of its Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power platforms will be largely dependent on the Application Analyst. From start to end, you will develop and manage our Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Power Platform-based business solutions, encompassing the entire “full stack.” Products include Power Apps Portals/Power Pages, Dynamics 365 (CRM), SharePoint interfaces, and data connections to our data warehouse, among others.

The role is open for a 24-month fixed-term contract and will be based in our York-based projects team initially. Regular on-site visits are anticipated. The post will be transferred to the operational Applications Team once the project is put into service and the position advances.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Full lifecycle management of the portfolio’s Microsoft-based applications, platforms, and services.
  • Oversaw and took part in break-fix support, deployment, maintenance, and continuous development.
  • familiarity with service delivery plans and ITIL service management
  • Knowledge in creating SaaS-based application designs, particularly for this position: One may find PowerApps, Portals, and Pages in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with students at all university levels.
  • Capacity to cooperate, work, and support colleagues from the University and the Innovation & Technology Services (ITS) department.
